A friend sent me this and it’s only fair and right to share with everyone I come across, as so many people waste precious time being bothered about nothing and would be happier if they were better enlightened…

3 of the late Charlie Chaplin’s heart-touching statements:-,

Hey! You can still get that beautiful face you desire….

You ever wonder how your face seems to be baptized with pimples, acne, blackheads and so on.
Well, look no further. Our lifestyles and habits are major contributors to this facial menace.
Firstly, what is the underlying principle behind the appearance of pimples/acne/blackheads?
The skin has sebaceous glands which secrete oil to lubricate and moisturize the skin. This is a normal process in the body. But when the skin especially the face is dry, these glands secrete more than enough oils to combat this dryness thereby in most cases creating what is known as a shiny skin. The excess oils in turn clog the pores in the face causing irritation to the face. The body reacts to this irritation by forcing the irritants out by pushing them to the surface of the skin leading to what is known as pimples. Bursting the pimples causes them to dry out leaving scars known as blackheads and finally acne.
How do you prevent this from happening to you?
1. Make-up: always wash your face after using a facial wipe or cleanser to clean your face maximum of twice daily.
2. Steaming: steam tends to open up your pores cleansing them from inside out. Wash your face with warm water before steaming to prevent the dirt or oils on your face from being absorbed into your skin. Ensure you rinse your face with cold water to close the pores back sealing in moisture.
3. Moisturize: using a good oil-based moisturizer to lock in moisture after you steam.
4. Scrub: there are so many home-made facial scrubs out there which you can make yourself like the avocado scrub (gonna talk about this scrub in subsequent write-up), yoghurt and so many others. Do this at least once a week for the career woman or twice a week for those who have got the time.
5. Nutrition: the most important aspect of all of this is your diet. Ladies, if you don’t eat right, no matter the scrub, steaming and whatever routine you carry out will not yield optimum result. Nothing beats eating fruits and veggies. Drink lot of water to keep your skin hydrated so as to prevent the body from trying to produce oil to lubricate the skin.
6. Exercise: particularly aerobics at least 150minutes a week.
7. Sleep: sleep well to keep your whole body rejuvenated. Worry less to ensure a well deserved rest.
8. smile: nothing adds glow to the skin such as a beautiful and infectious smile.
